Nigeria to use Taekwondo Open to prepare for All Africa Games

The President of Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTF), Margaret E. Bingo has revealed that Nigerian taekwondoists will use the upcoming Nigeria Taekwondo International Open to prepare for the 2019 All Africa Games holding in Morocco.

The Open, which has G1 international ranking was approved by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), will hold at the Abuja National Stadium from Friday, 8 to Sunday 10, February 2019.

At a press briefing to herald the games, the NTF boss informed that equipment and facilities to be used at the event will be in line with international best practices.

“All equipment and material to make this program a remarkable are well in place, because we are in partnership with World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) and they have been able to support this event with the latest equipment and gadgets that worth more than $8,000 dollars,” she said.
